• Hello.

After the update, horizontal scrolling no longer moves smoothly.

I’m setting it up with my own CSS, but the TablePress demo page’s reverse mode behaves similarly, so I think new JS or CSS is involved.

    https://tablepress.org/modules/responsive-tables/#flip-mode

Smooth scrolling is an image of the unfixed table part bouncing after scrolling.

Please let me know if there is a solution using css.

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

I’m not sure that I understand. For me, the scrolling is smooth on the TablePress website.

What browser are you using? Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

In my environment, I always update WP and plugins on the test site to check for defects, and then update on the public site.
Therefore, TablePress has not yet been updated on the published site.

    My environment is Mac.
In the flip mode demo we sent you at the beginning, it worked fine in Safari, but we found that it stopped when scrolling in Chrome.

Theme-specific responsive table scrolling works correctly in Chrome, so we believe there is some kind of issue.

I can’t express it well in English, but in Chrome it doesn’t scroll smoothly, and at the end it seems to stop without any recoil.

Could you please check the above demo page on Safari and Chrome?
If we cannot resolve the issue, we will update TablePress on the public site and provide you with the URL.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi,

that’s strange. I can not reproduce this scrolling problem with the flip mode, even on the TablePress website…

I’m also using a Mac, and Chrome and Safari, but it’s working totally fine for me…

Can you maybe check if there are any browser extensions or add-ons activated in your browsers and turn them off? Can you maybe also create a video/screencast of what you are seeing?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

I apologize for taking up your time.
I cleared the cache, disabled all Chrome add-ons, and investigated again.
As a result, there is no difference in behavior between theme-specific tables and TablePress, which is likely due to differences in the behavior of Chrome and Safari on laptop versions.
I mainly use Safari, so I wasn’t able to properly understand how Chrome works.
Therefore, I updated TablePress with peace of mind.
Thank you for developing this wonderful plugin!

    Hi,

thanks for the update! Just to be sure that I understand: The issue is now gone and the scrolling is working fine everywhere?

Was there maybe a browser add-on active that could have caused this (would be good to know in case others have similar problems)? Or was it just a browser caching issue?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

The scrolling issue has been resolved.

This seems to be caused by the fact that scrolling elements in all web content, regardless of TablePress, do not bounce when the scroll reaches the edge of the area in the desktop version of Chrome, but bounce smoothly in Safari.

    It wasn’t caused by a browser add-on.
I’m not sure if the cache is the cause, but theme-specific tables no longer scroll properly on the desktop version of Chrome, and after checking various websites, I realized that it was a browser issue.
