Horizontal scrolling is not working

Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Please turn off the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen. It can not be used together with the Responsive Tables Extension.
After that, the table should look ok again.

i did it and now the layout is fine, but i can’t scroll with the touchpad of my macbook. to scroll I have to hold the sx button clicked and in the meanwhile scroll with the touch, unfortunately this is not so easy to understand for normal users

do you know why the normal scrolling is not working? thanks

hmm, that’s strange. Unfortunately, I don’t know why this is the case ?? On the desktop, everything is fine, so that I can only assume that your theme is maybe adding special touch handling. Unfortunately, I’m not an expert with that ??

Can you maybe try the approach from https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/responsive-tables-scroll-only?replies=6#post-5511954 as an alternative to the Responsive Tables Extension?

no, sorry, I don’t know what else could be causing this ??
Is this happening with the WordPress default themes like TwentyFifteen as well?

Is the scrolling working on the TablePress demo at https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ ?

damn, with the twenty15 theme is working properly, so is a theme problem ??
i have tried playing around with the inspect elements and changing some value but right now the situation didn’t change…

could you please help me why is not working with my theme?

from what I can see, there is some weird HTML in there, like

<div class="tablepress-scroll-wrapper">
            <div class="onp-locker-call"  data-lock-id="onpLock241143">
                <p></div>
<div class="tablepress-scroll-wrapper">

Please try to fix this in the “Text” editor (not the “Visual” editor) on the “Edit” screen of the page.

i removed the div class, the rest (onp-locker) is just another plugin
but also removing it the situation is the same
