Host portion is stripped?!

Hi Everyone,

After transferring 2 sites from one server to another and changing the host portion of these sites, this host portion gets chopped of.

For example, “https://pentiumstopwatch.local.net/welcome” is now seen as “/welcome”.
As a result, the browser is showing a 404 error – URL not found.

However, when doing a login, like for example “https://pentiumstopwatch.local.net/wp-login.php”, that works like a charm – including all the other goodies from WordPress.

Is there anyone who knows where this is coming from; ideally knows what to do about it?
