Our website recently migrated to a new hosting platform. Tonight, we had an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error so I contacted the host. They got the site partially operational, but said we have to contact the Forminator plugin developer because that’s creating the issue. Some variation of this pops up about a dozen times on the front and back ends of the site

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Forminator_Template_Blank::$fields is deprecated in /home3/ipalizte/public_html/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/abstracts/abstract-class-form-template.php on line 33

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Forminator_Template_Blank::$settings is deprecated in?/home3/ipalizte/public_html/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/abstracts/abstract-class-form-template.php?on line?34

I have absolutely no idea why, or what has changed, other than migrating to a new host…

    Hi @dyingscenejay,

I’m afraid, the above log shared doesn’t provide much information on what caused the 500 error. The logs only point to deprecated notices which shouldn’t be throwing a 500 error.

Is the current issue with Deprecated notices or with 500 error? Could we know the version of PHP that you are currently running on after migration?

It also appears you are running on Forminator v 1.22.1, the latest version is v 1.35.1 which is compatible with higher PHP versions. The version 1.22.1 is around 2 years old.

Please do update the plugin to the latest version and let us know how that goes. Most probably the issue noticed might be due to an outdated plugin and higher PHP version.

Also if its regarding the logs showing up in the homepage, then it’s due to Debug Mode enabled in the website which isn’t related to Forminator.

You’ll have to make sure Debug mode is disabled, you can refer to the following info:

Thank you for that response. Sorry, I should have been more clear. We initially had the 500 error. After workign with the host, that seemed to clear, but we were then left with all of the Deprecated notices. Updating the Forminator took care of the forminator specific ones (which were at the top so they’re the ones I noticed first, but we’ve still got about a dozen others. We’re currently running php 8.3 – the host still remains less than helpful. We never encountered anything resembling these errors since switching to the new host, so something is not right, I just can’t figure out what it is. Thanks for your input.

    Hi @dyingscenejay,

I do see that Forminator is currently disabled in the website. Did you try disabling debug mode as stated in the previous reply? Did that help with removing other deprecated notices from the front end?

Updating the Forminator took care of the forminator specific ones (which were at the top so they’re the ones I noticed first, but we’ve still got about a dozen others.?

Could you please share what exact notice you notice? If you could copy/paste the logs it would be helpful.

You can use Google Drive, Pastebin on any such cloud services to share the logs if there are high number of logs.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin
