• Hi,

    Three months ago I generated a security certificate using the plugin and had hostgator install it for me. It has expired but I used the plugin to generate a new one. Hostgator don’t support lets encrypt automatically so I have contacted them to install the renewed one. I advised them it should be in the same location but they are advising that one has expired. I don’t have root access on my hosting package.

    Could you advise where I should point them in order to help them find the new certificate?

    Cheers,
    Bobby.

  • Hello, when it generates it tells you in the routes where they are, in addition you can change some route as indicated here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-encrypt/faq/ -> WP_ENCRYPT_SSL_CERTIFICATES_DIR_PATH

    One thing, they charged you to install the certificate? If so, they may charge you again. Ask them when they will support as other hosting companies do.

    A greeting
