Hosting in sub-directory

  • Hi,
    Firstly I installed my WP site basicaly in the root of my hosting (besaint-pierre.be).
    But my client requested that the URL of the WP site was “besaint-pierre.be/medicalnews”, so I created a sub-directory (/medicalnews) and I put the WP files in this new directory.
    Then I arranged the index.php in the root and changed the WordPress URL via the dashboard.

    Now, if I try “besaint-pierre.be/medicalnews”, it goes to “besaint-pierre.be/” … Anyone may help me ?

  • Can you show me your .htaccess and your wp-config.php? Only show me the custom configurations you did for wp-config.php
