• Ever since I bought and applied a dedicated IP address to go with my SSL, I’ve been having this issue when I visit my website, make updates, try to post pages and everything else. The page loads for 20 seconds and displays an error, refreshing again will display it fine.

    “This site can’t be reached
https://www.theaccentshopinc.com took too long to respond.
    Try:
    Reloading the page
    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT”

Other signs include FTP issues like:
“Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server”

The issue is not with my ISP since the issue keeps happening on a different network and ISP. How do I convince GoDaddy that I have this problem? they say everything is normal.

  • Ever since I bought and applied a dedicated IP address to go with my SSL…

That’s the key; it’s something with the implementation of the static IP and SSL.

Talk to GoDaddy; it’s their problem.

So far the issue happens in Chrome mostly (or only, haven’t had issue in Firefox). Could it be that the browser is calling for an HTTP version and causing the problem? Can I make an HTTP request call for and HTTPS version?
