I am thinking about setting up a site selling stock video footage and the files are massive. I can’t upload them to my own WordPress site when I create a new download product because the files are well above 64MB.

I would like to just put the files on a storage server like Mega.nz where I have 50GB of storage and link the files to my download products on my site.

I tested it first with an asset I put in a DropBox account, but the link that was sent to the buyer on checkout was not a protected link. It just sent the buyer the direct link to the file on DropBox.

I am sorry if this is a real newbie question, but I haven’t really been able to figure out what is the best approach.

If I was just selling PDF or JPG files that are small it wouldn’t be an issue about storage and I could just host all the digital content on my own hosting server.

Much appreciated for any advice. Cheers…
