Hosting WordPress updates and easy updates manager conflict?

I’m going to use siteground for my hosting most likely and disabling the automatic WordPress updates to prevent compatibility issues with my custom code and plugins, but I was wondering what happens if I use easy updates manager as well?

If I have WordPress updates disabled through hosting is that going to conflict with easy updates manager plugin somehow? Or is easy updates manager helping with the updates of plugins, themes, and everything else other than the actual WordPress update?

I read the FAQ on website and couldn’t find anything that mentioned hosting services and conflicting with their WordPress update features.

I’m going to download the free version of the updraft plus to do my backups and test it out before going to premium, so I’ll be using that as well, just in case that changes the answer to my question.
