• Hi!
Me and my partner have the local news-blog See-Online.

With the downfall of Google Feedburner and no nice alternative out there we want to offer our customers a styled version of our RSS-Feed, hosted by us.

I couldn’t find a answer on this peculiar topic and would like to know if anyone of you has made experience with hosting and styling your own RSS-Feed.

Thank you very much in advance!
    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

The simple answer is it’s not simple to do.

I created a stylized rss feed about three years ago. It’s largely an undocumented operation in WordPress though Yoast has a 2009 article about it. I hope that provides some direction.

Thanks, that was not bad – however I can not understand why I can’t point my clients to a subpage of my site which pulls the content from the feed, but is styled via css.
