Hostname FTP Username and Password Are Not Working

  • Every time I try to install or download a plugin, WordPress asks me for my Hostname, FTP Username, and FTP Password. I use the same information (minus the port) that I do to connect to the server on FileZilla Client, but when I type it in on my dashboard, it says there is an error connecting with the server. Could anyone tell me why, or what I’m doing wrong?
