Recently, and not for the first time, several of my sites were scraped as well as were many others – even some large name bloggers. As I was scurrying to find a way to deal with it I rediscovered the old reliable htaccess method that will substitute an image of my choice for any images linked from a particular domain, or even all domains. It does not prevent content scraping, but it does allow a line of defense in that my substituted image can say indicate the real web address of my site.

The question I have is does All In One WP S&F offer this as well so I don’t have to manually touch the htaccess file? If not, is there a preferred way to manually add the necessary lines to htaccess without interfering with the All In One plugin’s mojo?

I would really prefer a setting in All In One that would prevent scraping altogether. Perhaps a bit of code that tests the URL and redirects to the proper one if scraped.

Thanks for a great plugin and for any assistance!
