hover background color for menu

I have sidebar woocommerce widget on my site and used NextEnd accordion menu to display the product categories.
Everything works fine except that the background when I hover on the main category menu, I cannot seem to change the css for background color (Example, the background is yellow, when I hover on it, it should be red) when hovered.
Can somebody help me? THanks!
