Hover over links jump, Chrome and Safari

I apologize if this has been brought up somewhere else but I haven’t been able to find any info about this particular problem. I just recently updated my Mac to Mavericks OS X 10.9. After the update, many/most of the links on my site jump to the next line (the line below) when you hover over them, making them impossible to click. If you are running OS X 10.9 and have chrome or safari running please have a look at what I’m talking about at here https://jasonirla.com/category/news/

This only happens using Chrome or Safari, the issue doesn’t seem to effect Firefox. This leads me to believe it’s a browser problem but I’m hoping there’s a fix I can apply to my theme’s CSS or something, to correct the problem in the short term. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a fix I can use to squash this glitch? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
