  • onna: oh no not again…
mail to matt asking what u think this forum lack. he is gonna overhaul this forum in the coming days.

    Thread Starter Jim

    (@jim)

There’s so much more in Beehive than there is here in terms of features but it’s also easier to navigate. You don’t have to move back and forth between threads and the thread listing.
Anyway, just a suggestion. Since beehive is free and open source I thought you guys might want to check it out.

well the thing is that matt has modified this forum so much as per his and our preference that it is no longer minibb. and as per features are concerned, if you suggest to him any feature worth having, you WILL GET it no matter what technology he uses. ??
i want rss per user and he has it in his todos. these guys made the MT Killer, you think a forum is tough? :O)

With many more people using these forums it is becoming difficult to find what you are looking for and “mini” in miniBB is there for a reason ?? That said I am not a big fan of Beehive … prefer phpBB or even vBulletin.

I concur, but Matt knows this, and I have already sent him a list of feature requests. Even so, let me just chime in and say that beehive and phpbb looks… ehm… not soo good.

Ew. No offense, but Beehive uses frames? That’s probably not gonna happen here, or at least I really hope it doesn’t.
I’d really like these forums changed. ??
A lite-weight solution would be nice (meaning – not millions of graphics and avatars and all that crap), but I should stress the real annoyance/frustration with the “losing of posts” where people feel like they are being ignored because no one’s read their post or replied.
