How about releasing updates that work from the get-go?
-
I used to like this slider, although i do echo some of the problems mentioned by other users – for instance calling a slide picture a ‘background’ makes no sense and means i spent ages scratching my head trying to figure out how to actually load pictures into the slider – so a change of terminology would make sense. A background is a background, not a picture. But my main problem with this is that twice now, updates have been issued, which i have trustingly clicked on only to see it wreck the look of my whole site. last time this happened (7th January 2015) they spent a day sorting it out and issued one update that still didn’t work and then another one a few minutes later that did. Today (18th Feb 2015), I have again updated and now ALL the sliders have disappeared from all of my pages. Frankly, this sucks, and points to updates not being tested properly before release, causing stress for thousands of people who probably have better stuff to do. I’m using WP 4.1, updated regularly, and 2012 theme – nothing fancy. But my site looks a whole lot less fancy without the sliders that i carefully added to it. What gives?
