Hi @elmanisero, have a look at this link. It contains instructions on adding the slideshow to Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve, but Twenty Thirteen should follow the same principals.

Thanks for the reply, but it is not the same thing.
I solved by inserting another javascript.
In any case it would be useful for other users of your fantastic plugin.

Glad to hear your managed to get this resolved ?? Thanks for getting back in touch with the info ??

Sorry, but I do not Understand what “installing another javascript” practically means.

May somebody help me a little bit to get it working?

    I don’t use this plugin.
I entered a responsiveslides plugins manually.

    Thanks,
I installed this responsiveslides plugin. But nothing changes on the main page of theme twenty thirteen.

What should I do to get it working?

Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

I would really like to use those Child Themes above in a site I am working on that needs a slider in the header. Can you tell me how to go about doing that?

You can replace the sample images in the images folder with your keeping the same name and size and if you want to add more images you have to insert the code in header.php

    @elmanisero

I used your code for the slider in header, but now my NextGen gallery doesn’t work properly (when i click on image it “in full width” not in “image viewer”). Any suggestions?

    hi @elmanisero
I have developed my own child site from twentythirteen, and I would like to add the sliding header to it.
Can you tell exactly which .php files do I need to change? I don’t want to change my entire site if I don’t have.
Can I simply change sections of the .php and upload the js and image folders ?

    thanks!!
