How Archives Work

  • I would like to know a little more how archives work. Just started using WP. It appears every month a new archive page is created, but what gets added to that archive page?
    I am using the blue-horizon-11 template.

  • Try to avoid the confusing word “page” ?? See: Pages.

    Showing a link and explaining what is the issue – might help to get a better answer.
    If you meant a display of posts written in a certain month > they are just that: the list of all the posts written in that time period.
