How are the Capabilities saved in the tables?

    I found a couple of places:

    wp_usermeta.wp_capabilites and
    wp_options.wp_user_roles (this one looks most correct)

    It is fairly cryptic. Is there a description of how these capabilities for roles are set in the tables?
