How best to crop

    Congrats on the new theme. Really like the minimalistic approach. I have a query regarding the cropping of the images in the ‘featured items’ pattern that’s located at the bottom of the default front page.

    If I replace an image and then try and crop it, then no preview (grid lines) appears? There’s no indication what the final image will look like either when choosing an aspect ratio either.

    I’m editing through Appearance > Editor > Front Page.

    Glad you like it!

    I’m not sure what you mean by “preview (grid lines)”, but it might be easier to crop the images to a specific aspect ratio before you upload them. The block editor can be a bit finicky about resizing images. You can also replace the image blocks with cover blocks and set them to a fixed height in the block settings.
