How can I add a shadow over an image in Elementor

Hello,

I would like to make it so that an image is dark until someone’s cursor hovers over it, at which point it would become illuminated to its original form. This can be seen in the following theme: https://graphpaperpress.com/themes/fullscreen/#demo-desktop

Is there any way to do that using elementor?
