How can I add an image to the top of the events calendar, please?

    A bit of a snag – we have our main event taking place in April, but right now, it’s at the bottom of our calendar, and we want it at the top. As the calendar is obviously in date order, this seems to be impossible (I’ve tried lots of forums and asked many questions, but I can’t seem to get anywhere), so, next best thing, is it possible for me to put a JPEG at the top that acts as a call to action banner? I can’t seem to edit the events page – I can get in to edit the individual events, but the only thing I seem to be able to change within Enfold Child are the colours.
    Any advice is hugely appreciated.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    It looks like you are using a customized version of the list view, so I am not sure if my recommendations will work. But here they are:

    1. Have you tried using the “Feature Event” option in the April event to make it stand out?
    2. To add an image or any HTML really, I would recommend going to Events > Settings > Display and looking for the “Advanced Template Settings” section (at the bottom)

    Many thanks, the issue with feature event is, it just makes it large, but it remains at the bottom of the stack, so I guess that’s not budging! As for the other suggestion, that works – I can add screenshots to do this chat it seems, but the only issue I am having now is the banner I have designed doesn’t sit in the middle, it’s low down and half of it is taken up with the menu underneath – I’m not very on top of coding, but would there happen to a simple way to put the banner directly in the middle of the white strip above the listings? It’s hard to explain without a screenshot, but hopefully my ramblings sort of make sense!

    Thanks for getting back to us, and my apologies for the delayed response.

    Unfortunately coding is the only available way to achieve the results you want in this scenario. You could try adding some padding to the image to improve it’s positioning.
