How can I add popup code to Elara theme Header

    Hi,

    Currently I want to add a popup code in the header of my blog. How do I do that? It says ‘ find your header.php file and search for the <head> section. Paste the code before </head>’. Could you please help me in this regard?

    In order to add code to the <head> section of your website, we would suggest installing this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/

    After installing and activating the plugin, go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers. Copy and paste your code into the “Scripts in Header” field.

    Thanks for your response. However, the above solution is not working. I want to paste the code for Mailchimp subscriber pop up. With the above solution this is not effective. Could you please help me in this regard.

    After pasting the code in the mentioned plugin and saving, the popup is not seen on my blog pages (neither on home page nor on any other posts).

    I just want to implement the MailChimp subscriber popup for my blog. Where to paste the code on Elara theme?

    Thanks for your reply. This could be due to cookies or other display settings- would you mind adding the code back using that plugin and then let me take a look?

    Hi Steven,

    As suggested by you I have reinstalled the plugin and added the mailchimp code in the head portion. You can have a look and let me know. Kindly help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Amrita, this is very helpful.

    The code is being inserted correctly into the head section of the page, but your code is trying to load an external javascript file that is returning a 403 (forbidden) error:

    Your best bet here would be to get in touch with the company that provided the popup code to you, they should be able to correct the 403 error for you.
