Hi @tlcsmith! I’ve tried downloading photos on your page, and it seems to work for me. If I right-click on any image and I select “Save Image As…”, it is downloaded properly.

What do you mean by “The download file is the about info and General info: kind, size where information and the photo”?

If what you want is to add a Download button, maybe you can try placing the File Block on your page.

Hello Mario. Thank you for your time and the info you provided. I attempted to download using different browsers, Chrome and Brave and have the same results.

After I select, save image as.
Format: WebP image is default and the only other format option is, All Files. After image is downloaded, the file will not open.

    In file Get Info:

    Kind: Google’s WebP

    Where from:
    https://i0.wp.com/theafricacoin.com/wp-content/

I get the same results using Chrome and Brave browsers on a second computer. On the second computer, Chrome and Brave browsers are backup copies. I decided to try Safari browser on both computers and no issue with download of JPEG image. Images downloaded properly.

I’m wondering if the security extensions or browser settings on Chrome and Brave are the problem? On the second computer. I’ll try reinstalling Chrome and Brave without the security extensions and see what happens. Again, thank you.

Oh, I may know what is happening. If I am not mistaken, it is not a problem with your websites but with the webp format. I believe that Windows apps don’t support this image format (only Paint does), and I used the browser (Chrome) as the default app to open it. That’s why it was working for me.

Moreover, webp wasn’t supported in Safari until the latest macOS versions, so it was automatically changing the format to JPEG/PNG. That’s the reason it’s working in Safari, I guess.

I think that if you add another file extension to the filename while downloading, for example, Afro-coin-gold-zoe-ada-2.png, or if you open them with the browser or Paint, it should work.

Hi. Adding the PNG extension to download and open with the browser worked. I don’t fully understand the webs-windows apps thing. However, the problem has been solved. And there is always Safri.

Thank you very much for the info and your time.
