• i have downloaded a 3-columns theme, but i only need 2-columns. the theme is “Anacond” .

    Please how can i change it into 2 columns?

  • You’ll need to look in your index.php file in the THEMES folder. There will be references, probably at the bottom, but possibly at the top to sidebars. Remove the one you don’t want, after backing up the file, and see if it works.

    Probably, it won’t – the empty space for the sidebar will still be there.
    Find a 2 column theme if that’s what you need.

    It is not impossible to modify a theme in the way you asked… the problem is if you have to ask how to do it, then it won’t be easy.

    Could you point me in the right direction I’ve known that
    Learning is not suppose to be easy…how else are you going to become good at it?

    Basically, I would like to know how to do this – so just some quick pointers would be appreciated.

    I really do not mean to be unhelpful. But if you need to ask this type of question in this forum then you are off course. 3 to 2 col mods require an encycleopeadic knowledge of templates and CSS. moshu can do it. I can do it. But it is way outside the remit of this forum.
