how can I change and delete the default Product Category

    In my Woocommerce, under the product category. There is a Product Category I want to delete. But it said “This is the default category and it cannot be deleted. It will be automatically assigned to products with no category.” How can change it to not default and then delete it? thank you.

    Could you please let us know which is the name of the category that you would like to delete? By any chance is it Uncategorized?

    The category name is – — Bundle of Joy (4 cupcakes Box)
    The parent category is the mochi cupcake.

    Hi @joyeejoyee,

    You should be able to change the default category from Products → Categories by hovering on another category and clicking “make default”.
