  • Can you be a little more specific…

Which date and where within the site do you want to change this setting?

For example when you click an event in calendar. You go to a page for make reservation and the title is the name of the event and the date in YYYY-mm-dd format and in Spain is dd-mm-YYYY. Is annoying for spanish user for example.

    Hey @suraklin ,

We will be adding a change to make this use the ‘date format’ from core wordpress, in the next release, most likely. I want to let you know this is on the radar. In the mean time, there is a way you can change the ‘title’ of the individual event pages, if you need to, so that they display the proper format (or really anything you want).

First, start by editing the event itself. In the ‘event settings’ box, below the calendar (where you selected the venue and event area for each event) there is a list of each of the ‘showings’ of the event. This list has a lot of features, but one of the features are the ‘three letters’ next to each event, “E V X”. E means ‘edit’, V means ‘view’, and X means ‘remove’. If you click the E, you will be transported to the edit page for that individual showing of the event. On this edit page, you can change the title of the showing to whatever you want and hit save. Once you do that, on the frontend, that event’s title will now show what you changed it to, instead of the improperly formatted date.

Keep in mind that this is a workaround solution to the problem you describe. As you can imagine following this work around for many showings and events could be very tedious. We will make it use the core wordpress setting for the date format in an upcoming release, but in the mean time, this is the only real solution I can offer here.

    Hey @suraklin ,

We have changed this in the latest version 1.10.6. Now the titles of the events use the WordPress Core date format. Let us know how this works out.
