How can I build a mobile app for my WordPress site?

    The first thing that you have to do is to download the Mobiloud plugin and install it on your WordPress site.

    Once installed, you will be able to find the Mobiloud plugin in your side bar.

    In the plugin’s home screen, you will see four tabs: Design, Menu Configuration, Test the App and Publish your app.

    1. Design your App
    Under this tab, you will be able to upload your app’s logo, change the navigation bar color, and choose what to show on your app’s home screen.

    You can also see a quick preview of the app design.

    2. Configure the Menu Tab
    On the Configure the Menu Tab, you will be able to customize your Menu structure, adding pages, categories, custom taxonomies, tags and links.

    3. Test the App
    This is the fun part! You can test drive your native iOS and Android app on a simulator or on your own device before signing up and publishing it.

    To test the app online from your browser, click on See Live Preview.

    To get a preview of your app on your device, follow the steps below:

    1. Download the Mobiloud app from the App Store or the Android app from Google Play on your own device.
    2. Open the Mobiloud app and once it’s loaded…
    3. Shake your device.
    4. A screen named “Preview your app” will become accessible.
    5. Now enter your own WordPress site’s URL and test your own app on your device!

    4. Sign up & Publish
    To get your app published you’ll need to sign up for one of our pricing plans.

    Once you’ve signed up you’ll fill in a simple submission form to provide us the details required to get your app built and published on App Store and Google Play.

    This includes an icon and launch screen for your app.
