How can I determine spam database download success

    Hello

    I would like to confirm Akismet is successfully downloading the spam database.
    How do I do that? I would like to see something like a last downloaded date. Or a database version date.

    I have a problem with my web site not connecting to external servers.
    The behaviour I am seeing is like a firewall or network filtered exclusion.

    I would like to check Akismet is connecting and downloading the Spam database.
    How can I check?

    I know I can connect to [api].rest.akismet.com.
    Is the download logged or dated anywhere in WordPress or Akismet?
