    Hello,
    I really like your plugin, thanks for making it.

    I have a client that is very nervous about Freemius and the data collection capabilities that Freemius has. Is there a way to disable Freemius?

    On a separate note, why is the following link embed in your code?
    https://dclwp.com/

    Best regards

    Hey @lechon,

    Freemius is disabled by default. If you have already opt in, you can easily Opt Out by clicking on “Opt Out” link in 404 to 301 in plugins listing page. See screenshot here.

    Where did you find the dclwp.com link? Can you share a screenshot?

    Hi Joel,

    Under “settings” the plugin has the Opt in button, but clicking on it does not do anything. I don’t believe that we have ever “opt in”, but since clicking on those setting does not do anything is there a line of code to look for to make sure that Freemious is disabled? Is it OK to block freemious on my .htaccess ?

    The the dclwp.com link is located in the file composer.jason

    {
    “name” : “joel-james/404-to-301”,
    “version” : “3.0.0.1”,
    “description”: “Automatically redirect all 404 errors to any page using 301 redirect for SEO. You can redirect and log every 404 errors. No more 404 errors in Webmaster tool.”,
    “homepage” : “https://dclwp.com/”,
    “license” : “GPL-2.0+”,
    “type” : “wordpress-plugin”,
    “require” : {
    “composer/installers”: “~1.0”
    }
    }

    If you have not opt in (if already opt in, it will show opt out link, not opt in), do not worry about it. It is turned off. Freemius will not track any data.

    Composer file is for development purpose and it will not be used in your site. dclwp.com is one of my sites, and I copied my development files from that plugin and forgot to update the link. No need to worry, it has got nothing to do with your site ??

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Hey,

    You don’t have to block because freemmius will not track unless you opt in. If you still want to block, go ahead, but please note that you will not be able to access Add-ons page. Otherwise everything should work ??
