How can I disable my password

  • When I try to visit my website from another device, it asks for login credentials. I tried to disable it from cpanel but it is not working. Can you suggest me any solution that might help?

  • What pops up there is a Basic Authentication. This is either set up in your hosting or via a plugin in your WordPress.

    If you can still access the backend, take a look at your plugins there. Deactivate the one that adds this authentication. If you can’t find any, you can also deactivate all plugins as a test.

    If this doesn’t solve the problem (or you don’t want to touch the plugins), it’s best to contact your host’s support team.
