How can I do this?

  • I have a website where I sell premade mobile websites, and like every site I do, I’m using wordpress. I need a way for each new user that signs up, they are able to choose their domain name, and it creates the subdomain they asked for. now this subdomain is hosted on the same server, but under a different domain (a shorter domain).

    I’m not sure if this is a cron job deal, or what?

    Multisite does that out of the box.

    now this subdomain is hosted on the same server, but under a different domain (a shorter domain).

    That I don’t know what you mean… Multisite makes multiple sites, all with separate subdomains (or subfolders).
