• Hiya, I’m a newbie when it comes to WordPress and have a few questions that I hope someone more experienced can help me with!

My idea for my website was for people to signup and be redirected to a webform that would automatically be added into a new subdomain.

    So my ideal situation is:
new artist person discovers site, signs up
subdomain is created under what name they register as
upon login, rather than a blog platform, have a web form that asks for information and is automatically added to the new subdomain.

My question is, what sorts of plugins would I need to be able to accomplish this?

Any help on this would be amazing ^^

  • If I understand what you’re asking, you’re looking for something where people can register on your site for a profile page, rather than a blog?

Take a look at BuddyPress — it’s a social networking plugin that allows that and the usual social networking goodies (liking/following people, posting updates, forming groups). User blogs are an option if you’re running multisite, but they’re not a required part of the system.
