    How can I enter the key without connecting stripe?

    You can manually enter API keys for test mode but for live mode you must go through the connect process.

    Here is an example of why we use Stripe Connect for live mode (it’s more secure).

    Please support the key. I think you miss a lot of users due to this. Many stripe plugins support it.

    Our partnership with Stripe requires that we use Stripe Connect and Stripe advises merchants to use the Connect process when possible.

    Many stripe plugins support it.

    We don’t follow what other Stripe plugin developers do and I think that’s why we have been very successful in growing a very large following and have the best reviews.

    If manually entering the API keys is a requirement for you then I recommend you use one of the Stripe plugins that supports it.

    Whatever your revenue is, the best choice is to use the most secure option, which is Connect. The article I linked to is a good example of the downsides of manually entering API keys.

    I’ve been using stripe for 7 years using key and nothing’s happened to me so far
