How can I exclude a category from a page other than home?

  • Hey guys I’m having some trouble with my theme. I’m using Prestige Ultimate WordPress theme from themeforest. My problem is that when I use Post ID on one page, it will post it to all my other pages of that template. For example I have a news page and the post that I was using as a test is not showing up, all my other pages are a “portfolio post” template. On the custom page setting for one of my pages I put down the Post ID and meant it specifically for just that page, and now its on every single page. How can I make it so it only displays on my PVP Guides page, instead everything else besides my News page. The link to the site is here :https://nextlevelwow.com/ Home is my homepage BTW

    I think everyone is just confused as to your question. Your website just displays “no posts in this category”.

    Don’t you just need to add your posts to the specific category so they display in your parent category page? IE: the chosen category?
