How can i find my wordpress database username and password?

By Mistake, i have deleted wp-config.php file and now i have uploaded new files.

    I am Using Godaddy’s windows server…

    I am getting below error:

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at [ip]. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Please help me as I have wasted by complete week…

    Thank you..

I suggest contacting Godaddy’s. They know their servers and are your hosting provider, so should be able to help you with this.

    Thanks for your fast response…

I have tried multiple times with godaddy and they said that it is not their problem…

As per Godaddy, their server is working fine…

    Please help…

I have gone through with your given thread link, but it is not useful for me because I am not using localhost…

I have installed the wordpress and my site database directly on godaddy windows hosting server…

my site database directly on godaddy windows hosting server…

But, they don’t want to help you. I don’t know what to say

Sign into your GoDaddy account, go to your products, Click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
In the Databases section of the Hosting Control Panel or the Websites and domains tabs you should see a list of databases along with user names, and there you should be able to change your password to the existing user or add a new user. Also I’m not sure your getting your host name correct, so you might want to look at their help sections or setup info to make sure that using the ip is the correct way to connect to the db

you can probably get the wpconfig.php file back by logging into your Control panel and in the File Manager there should be a .trash folder in the sidebar. The file is probably in there. That file should also give you you information on your database.

    Thanks for all your help…

    Godaddy didn’t help me..

I have resolved the issue by restoreing the backup taken from UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore plugin…

    Now its working..
