How can I FTP into a subsite

    I’ve Googled and found no direct answer for this question:

    “How can I FTP into a multisite subsite?”

    I have a multisite with numerous subsites.

    I want to navigate to subsite directories via FTP.

  • Sub-sites don’t have their own independant file systems. They all run off the same code-base. The only difference is that file uploads are broken up by site, but as far as I know that’s all.

    Thank you for the answer.

    My purpose is I need to add some functions to functions.php.

    But as everyone knows, if I make a mistake I get the White WordPress and my site is gone.

    I need to be able to edit the functions.php in one specific subsite.

    There must be a way to do this.

    In that case you’d need to make the change in which ever theme that site is using.

    Oh, and of course, you should make any changes in a child theme so that the chnages don’t get lost on the next theme update.
