How can i get a front page slider like this one?

  • This website i came accross, https://www.phonebuff.com/ has a good looking slider like design on the front page. I’m trying to get the same one for my site, and I know this site is a wordpress powered site, because .com/wp-admin asked me to log in.

    What’s the name of this specific plugin, or is it limited to themes?

  • I recognise that theme, it is SmartMag on ThemeForest and comes with the slider built in. Premium theme, but a good theme.

    There are loads of slider plugins if you search the plugin directory.

    Generally I find it easier when you get a theme that already has slider support. Otherwise it can be a PITA to install / get it looking right in the theme.

    So that theme is a paid theme? Can you recommend me a good slider plugin for that area of my site? It’s https://www.droidfeed.net and I’m using the colormag theme. Don’t know if that would affect it or not, but every slider plugin I’ve ever tried always ends up not working properly.

    Yes it is a paid theme. Sorry I can’t recommend a slider, best to have a look through and do some experimenting.
