I actually like Yoast SEO plugin very much and know it also to be the best today. But it seems to not work out of the box with BP. I done a tone of searches on the net and appears I am not the only one trying to figure this out. Have even tried a few tweaks that others in forums suggested but with no luck and it also appears that no one for whatever reason is giving a real solution to working with Yoast on the BP site. Things like titles and descriptions for group, profile’ activity feeds ect are not optimized properly for Buddypress like they are in regular WordPress.

I see the test buddy website does seem to have clean SEO all the way through. Not sure how that was accomplished unless it was done with one of the plugins that claim to be buddy SEO friendly.

I actually want to stay with Yoast SEO as I have always liked it and also want to add the Video SEO upgrade. But unless I can get the basics working with Buddy I am going to have to move on.

Any help would be appreciated as without having good SEO solution I am going to have to find another way to build this community I am working on but really want to stay with Yoast.
