How can I get my latest post on front page, left or right column?

    Hi,
    I like to have my latest post (only one!) on my front page, left or right column!
    how can I do this!

    You can set your front page to show your latest posts instead of a static page

    And you can limit the number of blog posts to 1 in Dashboard > Settings > Reading
