How can I get the name of the series?

I am actually looking to do this same exact thing. I am modifying my theme and trying to get it to display the series name. I assume it is a custom taxonomy and wonder what the id or name of it is.

I hope I understand your question correctly, but it sounds like you want to get the series name of a specific series.

In that case you should be able to use to the get_term function – https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/get_term/

@lk2_89 Ah, yes, that’s not the way to use that function.

You have to do this

$term = get_term( $term_id, $taxonomy );

Where $term_id is the ID of the series, and $taxonomy is ‘series’

And then you can echo the name from the $term object

echo $term->name;
