How Can I Have Customer Enter Text For Product Options?

  • I have products that the customer can customize with text that they choose, similar to engraving jewelery etc.
    Is there a way to add a drop down or text box that the customer can use to input text? A plug in, or option within theme? I am very new to all of this and maybe I’ve just missed the option. I am using th Mistile free Woocommerce theme currently, but would switch themes if that is the only way to accomplish this.

    Sorry, didn’t realize I’d selected italics. Didn’t show that way on my screen. Hope this is better. Didn’t post link to site because deleted products and started over today with new images. I will try to post later today.

    Thanks splashingpixels, I had seen that extension I think for $49 if it’s the one I’m thinking of. I will look again now. This is so new to me, I don’t quite understand all the terminology and wanted to be sure that extension would accomplish my goal before I purchased it.
