Hi,
Thanks for you quick response!!
Yes, I tried with wp-optimize but it makes website even more slow because it takes extra time to cache the website.
Hello,
There are several factors to consider:
You must use a good hosting. I usually recommend hosting with LiteSpeed as a server, since you have a free tool to optimize several aspects of the web page to increase the loading speed on the web (it also includes a cache tool that only works if the hosting uses LiteSpeed).
Regarding the templates, if you use external templates from marketplaces like Themeforest, I recommend you to buy one that has a high number of purchases as this way you have more chances that the author has more optimized the template. Most themes include a lot of unnecessary code or a bad structure in the code that makes the website go very slow.I don’t understand exactly why you don’t want to use a CDN, having free ones like Cloudflare with their free plan. However, I do recommend you to use a CDN to load the JS libraries of your website. The one in this link is the most used.
Also, you can look for what is known as ‘tweaks’ for WordPress. They are small configurations that remove some unnecessary functions in WordPress. Plugins like Perfmatter (paid) include their own tweaks that you can enable and disable as you prefer. This tool is interesting because it also includes a Script Manager that allows you to manually disable unnecessary code on certain web pages. For example, if you use a plugin for a photo gallery that is not on the home page, it would not make sense for that code to be executed on the home page.
As a last tip, if the LiteSpeed option doesn’t convince you, there are plugins (also paid) like WP Rocket. This plugin is a complete optimization suite and every day they are adding very interesting options, it also includes its own cache tool and something that LiteSpeed plugin doesn’t have, the cache preloading.
I hope this helps you, have a good day. ??
Hi fr0sty (@stfrosty)
Thanks for providing your valuable suggestion!!
I think you have provided the best suggestion for improving the speed of my website.
But most of the plugins are paid and at this time I am looking for free plugin because my website does not have much web traffic.
I don’t want to use CDN because I don’t know how the Adsense will perform with CDN.
Themeforest themes are for one time purchase or we need to buy/renew theme every year?
Hello,
I think you have provided the best suggestion for improving the speed of my website.
Glad to hear that ??
But most of the plugins are paid and at this time I am looking for free plugin because my website does not have much web traffic.
Even if a website does not have a lot of traffic, I recommend you to prepare it so that tomorrow it will be able to support a high traffic load.
I know that the option of doing it for free always attracts attention, and I personally was one of those people until I decided to try. I have recommended Perfmatters because they include a step by step guide on how to optimize the web, explaining each point to take into account.
Regarding WP Rocket, it is worth every euro I spent. Their support is amazing and if I had any doubts, they themselves have connected to my web site and solved it.
You are paying for quality of life. The licenses in both cases are paid annually and have very good prices.
However, if you don’t want to give it a try…. As free plugins, I’ve only worked with LiteSpeed Cache, so I couldn’t suggest you. There are some plugins like W3 Total Cache or Autoptimize, you can try some of those.
I don’t want to use CDN because I don’t know how the Adsense will perform with CDN.
I have this for you
Anyway, in Cloudflare there is a specific section to solve all the problems that may arise once you have implemented the CDN.Themeforest themes are for one time purchase or we need to buy/renew theme every year?
Themeforest licenses are a one-time purchase. By default, you have 6 months of support from the author included in the license. You have the option to extend that time period for an additional 6 months but it is not free. In addition, future updates to the theme are also included in the license.

Hello All,
Thanks for your support and suggestion!!
Hi,
There are multiple ways to improve the performance of your website. Upon checking, I found that the initial server response and JS file size take too much time. The simple way to resolve both issues is to install the Wp-Rocket plugin.
To reduce the JS and CSS file muanlly, please visit this article.
