How can I insert ads on the homepage?

I think the most obvious way to do this is with a custom WP Query.
You can use this tool to generate a custom query. Or you could use a plugin, which always has a PRO version that you pay more money for than you will earn using ads. (unless you have a large and stable repeat visitor ratio)

Why would you want ads on your website to begin with? I thought selling private analytics data was the new way to make online money. Ads annoys the crap out of people and it destroys most of your repeat visitor ratio. Do you want to create a userfriendly website with quality content, or do you want to spam people and earn as much money as you can? ??

Don’t think there is a plugin to insert advertisement in-between posts, this will need a custom query.

A plugin usually inserts ads at positions that has WordPress hook or filter, such as by filtering the_content and adding it in “single” post view.

In Hueman theme you can enable header advertisement widget area.
Appearance -> Customize -> Header -> Header Advertisement Widget
And deploy an advertisement widget to your header.

You can also deploy advertisement widget in sidebar.

If you really need to insert ads in-between posts on homepage, you will need to hire a developer https://jobs.wordpress.net to write you a custom solution.

You will need to adapt it on Hueman Theme.
