How can I insert posts in a page automatically?

  • Hi, I am new to wordpress and am trying to build a site for gig rowing, a traditional sea rowing sport in Cornwall UK.

    I have bought ‘wordrpess for dummies’ and uploaded it to server but it is all very new to me, it is going well but I am a bit stuck …

    I would like to insert posts from a certain category, say ‘Gig Events’ on a specific page, I have found the inline posts plugin but you ave to manually enter the individual post number. Is their a plugin that will select posts from a category automatically and display them on a page?

    Hope someone can help.

  • Posts going under categories, pages are for static content like a an about-page.
    Don′t mix this.

    Thank you Evita, I am just trying to separate out the posts into individual pages, I know pages are static but it would work better I think if I could list some category posts on certain pages. Toby ??
