• Hello,

    I have developed and published a plugin and I’d like to know on which sites it has been installed so as to see the usages made with it.

    Is it possible ?
    Is there any dashboard option on www.ads-software.com allowing to see this ?

    Thanks.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @efreja,

    On your page referenced above, look on the right sidebar where it says “Active installations:” you can see it says “Fewer than 10”

    You can’t and that information is not available to anyone. Think of the privacy implications. Don’t add any code to your plugin to track that either.

    The install count is available as well as the download count but that is all.

    @jdembowski ok… thanks

    If it is a free plug-in for some sort of reference like a link to your site can be added and use the amount of backlink as a counting measure. However, if you ever consider taking payment for a plugin most users would like a clean no copyright info or other info to be displayed but the number of sales can be counted in that case.

    A plugin that does that would be breaking the rules if they did not explicitly ask permission first from the user. Doing that without opt-in would get the plugin banned if it was not corrected.

    Don’t track usage of your plugin. It’s not necessary and isn’t for any plugin here.
