How can I link a picture (thumbnail) to its full album on a new page?

    Hi, I’m trying to create a website of just pictures with very little text. But I don’t know how to get started. I want to setup my home-page to have pictures (thumbnails) that when clicked take you to a new page that contains the complete album of that one picture. I also would like to know if there is a way I can create a page that doesn’t appear in the top menu bar. This is where I’m going to place the full albums of the pictures I put on my home-page, that is why I don’t want them in the top menu bar.

    2nd question.

    Are there any themes or plug-in’s that will let me fill up the whole width of a page with pictures? I would like to place 3, 4 or 5 pictures in one column but I want them to take up the whole width of the page. Just like this site. > https://html.webtemplatemasters.com/invento/index.html I love the design of that website, but it’s not for wordpress, are there any themes that look similar to it?

    I looked through the comments on the page that the theme was on (themeforest.com) and the makers of the theme said that it was not available on wordpress. But that comment was over 4 months ago. I just finished sending them an email. maybe the theme is now on wordpress. Thank you for your help. ??

    I think we may be talking about two different things here. You said the website was not for WordPress, but it is using WordPress CMS. You may mean that the theme is on WordPress.com? No, probably not. You would need to self-host if that’s what you mean.

    What I mean is that it IS using WordPress CMS so the design is possible in WP so you would be able to get information on how it was done or on a similar way of doing it or customize a theme in the same way, etc.

    @sunrader: the site https://html.webtemplatemasters.com/invento/index.html1 is not WordPress. Look at the source code; there are no standard wp paths. That company may indeed offer at some point a WordPress theme of that design, but their own support forums don’t show a WordPress theme by that name. The theme may be at .COM, but that’s not here, that’s https://en.wordpress.com

    You’re welcome to help out in these forums, but if you’re going to offer advice, please make sure you know what you’re talking about.

    @songdogtech, glad you could make the correction. I must have made a mistake. Yesterday, when I checked it, I thought I did get a wp-admin log in page here.

    I just received an email reply from the makers of the theme, the theme is currently only for html not for wordpress. They will be making the theme available to wordpress but they still have not stated a date for it. But thank you both for your answers! ??

    Now if I could bother you both with a different question, this is about a plug-in not a theme, hopefully you can help a newbie out.

    It’s about the NextGEN Gallery plug-in, I finally found a way to create pictures that link to the full album in a new page, but I want to know if it is possible to center the pictures in the home-page and new page that have the full albums. I’ve been searching for an answer to this but have yet to found a solution to my problem. Thank you in advance for your help.
