How Can I Link To A Specific Gallery In The Gallery Widget?

  • I have the Elementor Pro Gallery widget installed and have set up multiple galleries.

    I would like to be able to send someone a link to a specific gallery, rather than a link to the page the gallery is installed on. This will save the recipient having to use the filter to find the gallery in question.

    I have been told by Elementor support that this is currently not possible, but that a hack using code might be possible (although with typical support caution, they dissociate themselves from any consequences thereof).

    I would be grateful for any suggestions.

    Looking at your site, you are an Elementor Pro user. The developer can’t have a conversation with customers here. That’s not permitted for anyone.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    I find your response fairly confusing, and I’m not sure if you have understood my enquiry.

    It is a perfectly innocent question, and I am not asking “the developer to have a conversation with a customer”.

    I have already contacted Elementor support, and it was their suggestion that I look around for another solution, such as a code work around.

    In my experience as a longtime WordPress user, product user forums are usually the best place to start. Someone has invariably come across the same problem, and is happy to comment or share their solution.

    Elementor is indeed a “commercial product”, but if as you say “commercial products are not supported in these forums”, what is the point of the forum?
