How can i make all admins edit everything

  • Hi,
    I have a question, why can’t I edit the posts that my fellow-poster (lvl 9) made?? I’m level 9 also.. Is this default in WP? How can I change the editting-powers to all equal?

  • You should be level 10 if it is your blog.

    To make other users level 10, you need to use phpMyAdmin.
    Find the table ‘wp_users’
    Find the user
    Increase their level to 10

    CAUTION
    This gives those users TOTAL control over ALL your blog. Be very very careful to only do this if you totally trust the user. They could delete your database.

    The User Levels documentation states that “[e]ach user can edit/modify posts and options for other users whose level is lower than his or her own.”
