How can I make navigation on click instead of hover?

  • I am using the Twenty Eleven (child) WordPress Theme.

    I would like to know how to make navigation items reveal drop-down menus by clicking instead of hovering.

    I believe this is done with JavaScript, but I know nothing about JavaScript. If anyone has done this already with the Twenty Eleven Theme (or knows how to do it) and would be willing to share their code, I would be grateful.
